No one knows for certain how many they have left, but what we know is:

- they are lacking pilots (training takes approx 4 years)
- they are unable to produce the new machines to replace the ones lost and have not spares to extend the life of the ones they use
- most of the engines for helis and jets were produced in Ukraine
- they have lost ability to build some models since the collapse of USSR and they have lost the know-how (people who knew how to make them are dead or really old already), this is the case for Tu-22 for example
- they have lost a lot of ammo for them (used and destroyed), they are unable to produce them in the numbers able to replace the losses (vide: developing FAB bombs)
- UA have damaged beyond repair or destroyed many of their machines in recent months while those were taxi at the airports
- UA attacks with missiles and drones forced ru to move their bases further from the front
- In recent months ru lost a huge number of the radar systems providing info and cover to the ru air force, the rest is limited or moved away from the front
- UA has more (still too little) modern AA systems and now getting F16 which are causing russia to panic.
- They cannot move all equipment to Ukraine as they need those to be deployed in their vast territory too

They had a shit loads of those but from the cold war era. Very primitive (most had to send the films back to Earth). They tried to put some new gear into the space but it was a typical "russian success". To answer shortly. No, they have no eyes in the space.

Modern Russian reconnaissance satellites​

Russia made its first attempt to create a satellite capable of storing optical images in digital format and quickly transmitting them to Earth long before the launch of the last Yantar. Resurs-DK1 was launched in 2006 and was considered a purely civilian satellite, ostensibly designed to monitor agricultural and natural lands. It had a resolution of up to 1 m in black-and-white mode and 1.4-1.8 m in multiband mode.

However, as with virtually every Russian spacecraft, in this case, one cannot be sure that the military did not use it for its own purposes. Anyway, Resurs-DK1 operated until 2016, after which it was decommissioned. However, the military was satisfied with the tests and ordered a series of Persona reconnaissance vehicles based on it. They had roughly the same resolution (about a meter or slightly better), but could transmit color images. These are quite large satellites weighing up to 7 tons, which are placed into polar orbits at an altitude of 710 km.

In total, only 2 Persona satellites were successfully launched in 2013 and 2015. Their warranty period is 7 years, which leads some experts to conclude that they have either already failed or will soon. However, based on the experience of Resurs-DK1, they may still be operational.

The Allies were able to blockade Germany during the First World War but you can't with Russia, they have trade relations with China, India & Turkiye. We in Ireland have a big farming sector but even we rely on getting foodstuff in from abroad. The Russians won't be scared of Western sanctions.
