Sorry not trying to be smart or sarcastic but who is not listening to them, if you mean believing them then proof is needed, you can not convict a person on hearsay.

Which is the point. Rape and sexual assault happen in private, so what evidence is there? If as little as 2% of cases even get to court, do you honestly think 98% of the cases were just people making it up? A rape victim has to convince everyone along the way they are telling the truth. Without consent it is rape, so one could argue, if you can't prove consent it is rape, but because of the innocent until proven guilty, that's not how it works. So basically it is one person's word against another, and if they can't prove beyond reasonable doubt, then an awful lot of people walk free.

I am not saying anyone is making things up, some have, a small percentage I know, It's a hard one really. Why were all these assaults not reported? My only fear is he being found guilty by the media because of his personality. Let the courts decide.

If you knew that there was only a 2% chance of your case getting to court, would you put yourself through it? In the case of the perpetrator being rich and famous, I would think your odds were much worse. The victim has very little choice on their case even getting to court. I mentioned the Media Storm podcast a few posts back, LalalaLetMeExplain also has had ones about the same topic about innocent until proven guilty. Maybe listen to them, as I am explaining it badly. I don't think the media are finding him guilty, more that people are willing to speak up. Youtube and the like dropping him is more covering their arse rather than assumed guilt.
