In advance of the new season to be as ready as possible I tuned into Newstalk tonight. Field Marshall Toland and G-Thorn at the helm. I had my jotter out and all to take notes.

This year the drive is clearly on for the strike phase. Seemingly Munster have appointed Major Jared Payne to oversee this. G-Thorn must have used the phrase about 15 times in 2 minutes. In so far as I can tell the strike phase coach has replaced the attack coach in the armamentarium of the modern rugby brains trust.
