Tiochaidh ar ball
Chuckme the ball?

The Firing Squad - where you line the lads out in a straight line across the pitch and they have no hope of defending the oncoming attack

The GPO - where the opposition launch high ball after high ball in from distance and you hold out for as long as possible

The Michael Collins - when you throw a fake pass and the wing gets absolutely smashed anyway

That pass that Sam Prendergast gave Tommy O'Brien behind the try line the other night could definitely be called a De Valera.

Last week Shane Horgan referred to 'honey-potting around the breakdowns' which is rogbish I hadn't heard before.

I like it because it paints a vivid image of oafs as dumb wild bears being drawn into where the ball is, unaware they are going to be stung to death by the opposition bees. Or something.

LOL, rogger is a game played by a tiny number of people - by far the vast majority of people who watch it have never played it. It is a sport consumed almost exclusively through television. Rogger is an absolute marketing triumph and through rogbish and hype has convinced loads of people to buy in.

It's that very pomp and hype which is rightly celebrated on this thread - long may it continue ;)
This is Rogby Country 🍻
