I think so too, and aside from the corruption that saw the MAS f*cked over in the first place, it surely would make far more sense to have a dedicated match day one way system for buses like below, with bus stops on Monaghan Road ?

The absolute deluded nonsense here , 100 years there has been events down on the Showgrounds and as soon as the middle Ireland wokerati move in with little Harry and little Annabelle cycling down the Marina , all hell breaks loose. The Showgrounds is not a residential area , don't like it move somewhere else.

What I don't get is that the bus stop would also help with a lot of their issues.
I'd get the bus if possible but I'm not driving into the city on match day as I'm on Southside as is .
I tend to drive a close as I can and park (legally) then, if the public roads are open as a person pay road taxes and other taxes I am fully entitled to park on a public road. Not going to say where I live but for other reasons from time the general public park in our estate - the residents committee got double yellow lines where needed on corners etc and it's respected. As you said people moved into an area with a 40k stadium as a neighbor along a marina that was always going to regenerated and land developed and give out about things. Nah like.

The new “blackpool” apartment residents will soon be trying to control all events in PUC. Stadium was there long before these outspoken gang. Why live there if it doesn’t suit u.
