Rebels online

I was just looking at the rebels online games from the past 2 weeks and after briefly comparing it to clubber I feel they should be able to broadcast a couple more games The last 2 weeks we’ve gotten a Friday and Saturday game only. They haven’t even bothered to show a game on a Sunday. I feel like the bare minimum should be a game a day on the championship weekends. Also unfortunately it seems to only rlly be senior games that are being shown. Which is grand in hurling but for football it might the most boring grade out of them all

I get that clubber probably are better equipped for it so we are probably far away from a period where every game is getting shown and that people should prioritise going to the games rather then watching them online if possible but I think they should consider upping the quantity to 2 games each day (so 6 across the weekend) and using the second game to showcase games from PJ to PI grades to give more variety as these are also some of the most entertaining grades

Next round for football they’ll be showing Nemo vs Eire og on the Friday and ballincollig vs Newcestown on the Saturday

If they up it to 2 games a day we could get something along the lines of: Friday - Nemo vs Eire og & St Michaels vs Castlehaven Saturday - Ballincollig vs Newcestown & Cobh vs Canovee Sunday - Gabriel Rangers vs Dromtarriffe & Ballingeary vs Cill Na Martra

Personally I think even that would be a great improvement. What r other peoples opinions or am I being unreasonable?

Couldn’t agree more West Cork. I normally spend the weekends going to games where possible and watch the games back when doing the night feeds. The service is super but it’s too senior focused and not enough games. I made this comment on a thread earlier in week.

I think without knowing the subscription numbers and game pass numbers it's hard to speculate if it's viable to expand the service.

Personally I'd love a few extra games on it. I'm pretty active in my club and between that and other commitments I can't attend as many games as I'd like.

I agree the service is very premier senior focused but I suppose those are the games that I'd like to see the most if they can only show the current number of fixtures.

If it could be expanded absolutely show more lower level games. To be fair though the echo don't give any real coverage to the grades from Intermediate A down either. They wouldn't have the number of reporters I suppose.

I agree to be fair, it’s impossible to know the financial viability of it.
With regards to premier senior getting the most coverage, I think it makes so much sense for hurling as it’s the highest standard and a seriously competitive grade.
However in football, I think most would agree it’s a 3 horse race and constantly spits out low scoring affairs as opposed to even senior A which has shown to produce very high scoring even match ups. Personally I would much rather watch any grade then PSFC but I understand that it might appeal to more casual supporters unfortunately

Totally agree with the lack of fixtures and some of the games they have neglected to show would showcase the Cork championships in a better light.

Have missed some cracking games in both codes that would have been better than the games selected for viewing.

Cill na Matra v Beal Atha comes to mind in football for example and Blarney v Courceys last weekend in the hurling. These games were always going to be good games. The local derbies nearly always good viewing. The senior A grade is a much better spectacle than some of the muck in the senior grade.
