Hes good in Magnolia too. Jerry Maguire. Born on the 4th of July, A Few Good Men.

Hes made some very good movies.

How many actors can you think of that were great and good-looking? Paul Newman was probably tops with female film fans.
Cruise will probably end up asking Cher for advice on cosmetic surgery!

BOTFOJ was an excellent story Col but it needed a more convincing actor to play the part of Ron Kovic.

Jerry Maguire was typical Yank schmuck.Good for a limited leading actor.

In AFGM he was mediocre yet again. Jack Nicholson was excellent.

In Magnolia he was nothing special.

I respect other posters opinions Col but in my opinion Cruise has always been an overrated actor and nothing more!
