Went to see the Odyssey tonight, it was what I expected it to be, some epic shooting but ultimately what all Hollywood blockbusters have become, A bit drab in parts.

I like Matt Damon and he played the roll well but I think it could have been cast better tbh, he was a safe bet and Nolan likes him.

In saying that I did enjoy it, definitely one for the big screen and the MAXX if you can get to one.

7/10 is a fair score I think.

Nolan is on a bit of a meh roll.

Tenet is shite. Oppenheimer is alright. Didn't like The Oddyssey tbh. Lagged for far too long . His non linear narrative with a big twist at the end thing is gone very tired.

Films like any art are there to be discussed. Would be very boring if people all liked the same stuff.

Tenet is shite. Oppenheimer is alright. Didn't like The Oddyssey tbh. Lagged for far too long . His non linear narrative with a big twist at the end thing is gone very tired.

I haven't seen Tenet, I liked Oppenheimer but I see what you mean on Oddyssey, it was a bit dull at times, still worthy of a watch imo.

The Prestige, Inception, Interstellar and Oppenheimer were great but I wouldn't get to excited over anything else he's done personally.

Nolan like all big directors eventually all go a bit stale.

Yeah hes had a great creative run but his films are all after becoming a little formulaic.

Interstellar and the Dark Knight his two best imo
