Rate the last movie you watched out of 10

The 10/10 is for me. I grew up when he was at his best. Brings back great memories of life back then. His music was magical.

Someone else might give it 1/10 but they don’t see it the way I do. No prob with that 🕺🏻
Great I'll check it out, thanks.

When he played Cork, I really wanted to see him.

My Father said "No", he said another time, this is Our time now. I didn't necessarily understand at the time. I really wanted to see Michael Jackson.

He explained to me the commercial attributes.

(I had been weighing potatoes back then)

I had lifted 24 cases of Coke in and out there I've ever done lol. 24p a Case.

Then, well then the issue in school arose.

All good.

Nuremberg.

Centred around the psychiatrist brought in to assess the mental health of the Nazis on trial at Nuremberg but it's mostly focused on said psychiatrist and Goering.

I thought it was excellent. I'm sure there were a few scenes that never really happened, but it stuck to the meat of the story as I remembered it in what I've read (as much as any film can in a complex story in 150 minutes).

Excellent cast too. Crowe is outstanding as Goering. To me the real test of any film is "would I watch it again?" and it's an unequivocal yes AFAIC.

Yeah Crowe is the best thing in it. doesn't seem to get as much work since he got fat. could these guys not take the studio money and get a trainer to get them in shape for a role. hes wasted as on form hes superb.

Was taken to this. remember the excitement of him coming to cork was off the charts. he was by far the biggest star on the planet at the time. bigger than taylor swift or any of these modern gomes and he had the songs to back it.

He also had a 10 year old child back in the floor he had booked out in Jury's.
I have no problem with people enjoying the music. I believe in separating the art from the man. However isnt this 'bopic' a big pile of progandising shite? I havent watched it but I did watch the recent documentary on the BBC. An incredibly talented musician but also a monster in real life.

Ive not seen the film so i dont know. Most biopics bear little resemblance to the truth. its telling a story in 2 and a half hours. Ali was a bastard to the women in his life. the will smith movie didnt touch on it. the johnny cash movie portrays his first wife as a cunt when she supported his struggling music career then he walked out on them. i honestly dont know enough about the guy, might see if i can get that bbc doc but all these docs editorialise.

I dont remember it that way tbphwy.
Also Jackson was a prolific pedophile. Im not devaluing martial difficulties and abuse but this is in a different ballpark completely.
There shouldn't be movies made glorifing his life. Listen to his music all you want. I dont believe he should be cancelled at all. However this movie is just pure propaganda that makes a mockery of the sexual abuse of multiple children.
He went back and raped a child on the Western Road after that Cork show like.
