Rate the last movie you watched out of 10

First time watching it, decent watch alright but as expected the 80's cinematography isn't the best.

Friedkin brought in Robby Mueller - a Dutch guy who Friedkin admired for working with with Wim Wenders. Wenders films aren't known for flashy sequences so Mueller was a bit at sea with the action scenes. Mueller did make the film look incredible with the dreamlike orange tinted streets by day, the cold blue nights - very Michael Mann-esque. Petersen obviously went on to work in "Manhunter" which has the same look.

Mueller refused to do the car-chase scene because he felt it was way too dangerous - and, to be fair, who would blame him with Wild Billy Friedkin coked out of his fucking mind shouting orders through a megaphone from a follow car or chopper whilst the lead actors, not professionally trained stunt people, drove like mad men all over L.A.?!

Robert Yeoman the second unit cameraman jumped in to the cars and filmed the shots. Yeoman went on to be Wes Anderson's cinematographer of choice from his debut "Bottle Rocket" to "Asteroid City".

Your man William Petersen has some gatch on him in it!

His gatch is hanging out all over the screen in one scene.
