Rate the last movie you watched out of 10

28 Years later: The Bone Temple.

Ralph Fiennes kindly doctor from the last movie makes friends with Samson the killer alpha from the last movie.

The young fella falls in with a gang of murdering psychos until the competing narratives intertwine.

Really enjoyed this, gory and violent but like the last film it has a tender story at its heart.

Fiennes is fantastic. Saw The English Patient and Schindlers list on de telly in the last month and hes really one of the finest working actors about. Fun fact he lived in Kilcrohane for a year and a half when he was a young fella. Used go fishing for mackerel.

Cameo from you know who at the end.

7/10

Fact.

Although let's be honest there remains some Ambiguity to She-Ra.

You'd be delighted with yourself like, but it might take a bit to bring her home to meet your mam like

The 80s live action effort with Dolph Lundgren was brutal .

Even my 8 year old self recognised that as a pile of shit.

Hard to figure who this is aimed at. Can't see middle aged men who had the action figures flocking to it.

Do today's kids know who He-Man is?

No chance.

Netflix rebooted it a bit a few years ago I've been meaning to spend some quality bonding time forcing my kids to watch it instead of more K-Pop demon hunters

the trailer was class in fairness. Drink up the nostalgia like

Looks very anime. I can't even really remember the cartoon that well. Tygra was his buddy (Or was that Thundercats) , he was a bit of a fanny then he turned into battle cat iirc.

This has John Carter level mega flop written all over it.

He-man's cat was cringer

Bit of a fanny then turns into battle cat describes all the characters.

Prince Adam was a fuckin dork.

The floaty ghost fella with the hat was a pain in the hole.

It was fairly moralistic the way 80s cartoons used to be. Eat your greens and stay away from commies.

Mega flop sounds about right

All these cartoons looked the same, same kind of Scoobydoo vibe.

Suppose the animation was all farmed out to Japan and South Korea for pennies.

Was reading that transformers started with the toys then worked backwards with cartoons and comics lol. Wonderful product synergy.

Hollywood is fairly fucked for ideas when they're doing remakes of live action adaptations of 80s cartoons.

'Coming soon live action The Racoons' lol. MASK was another one, those toys were awesome
