Rate the last movie you watched out of 10

Only the first season of it but yeah I thought it was brilliant.

Will knock through it with my young fella over the summer I'd say.

Twas Gas to see him squirm next to me watching the main fella fall behind in scores in the final match.

There is a certain assurance of outcome that comes with the knowledge that once the Goodie has reached his training montage quota and the impossible move he has yet managed to master has been introduced..

Sweep the leg...

I haven't been this disappointed in a film since the Matrix 4. The trailer hypes this up to be a tenses horror, a fight for survival but what we get is a clunky script with an even clunkier plot that makes it's characters make the most bizzare choices, it would make you wonder if the apocalypse even happened.

I'll save the details till more people have seen it. To write a coherent review now without pulling out what's left of my hair would take an hour and a few stiff drinks.

Maybe nostalgia is the problem. Maybe its the directors themselves who have changed so much over the years that they no longer relate to the films they once made. Who knows. What I do know is that movies used to be better and I'm blaming the superhero franchises for killing it.

I recorded Trainspotting2 , hadn't seen it since the cinema.

Turned it off after 35mins. Awful crap.

Didn't mind 28years later. Liked the Wicker Man medieval vibe

I did try to warn you!

Speaking of The Matrix I watched The Whole Truth starring Keanu Reeves on Netflix last night. Court Room drama with a twist. Not bad at all

Friendship 0/10

Craig, a narcissistic middle aged man, develops an unhealthy infatuation with Ant-Man when he moves into the neighbourhood.

A miss from A24 here, I don't find this type of awkward uncomfortable humor particularly funny. But Rotten Tomatoes gave it a 88% so go figure.
