Cabin the in the Woods is freaking awesome, a film I could watch again and again. They should make a prequel. Your not a horror fan?

I love horror. I didn't like that movie though. It seemed very fake or something

Sebastian Stans plays a guy with facial deformity who gets a cure.

His life then goes to shit.

Colour out of Space 6/10

I liked this a lot. The Nicholas Cage renaissance steams ahead with this horror scifi about a meteor strike on Cages remote farm.

Strange goings on start occurring under the guise of a glowing purple hue that envelopes the neighbouring woods, the house and the minds of the residents.

All characters are completely over the top, especially Cage, which just adds to the absurdity of it all.

Be warned, some parts are not for the faint hearted.

6/10 legitimately funny.

They got serious access to NBA footage and even squeezed some of MJ's gambling in there.

it could have been a documentary

The fat guy baddie from Jurassic Parkwas great.

I forgot Bill Murray was in there.

The Assessment 4/10

Scarlet Witch and her scientist husband embark on a week long assesment conducted by a government invigilator to examine if they're worthy to be suitable parents.

Set in a dystopian future, a landscape only mentioned in passing, its hinted that these characters are top of the pecking order but are required to endure the bizarre trials set out by the assessor.

A score of 4 may be harsh but it took me week to finish it. The performances were solid through out but I just couldn't understand what the film was trying to say.

If you liked ex machnia, this has the same look and feel.
