Paddington in Peru. 7/10

Not as good as the last one, but good fun. Both Antonio Bandaras and Olivia Coleman are brilliant in it.

Boring and slow moving (yes, I know you said Murphy was excellent) How tf can you give it 8/10. I tend to agree with all you said. I wouldn't say boring, but yes a bit too slow. Basically, works better as a book!! Murphy was good alright. I'd say 6/10.

Am I the only one on here who just can't stand action movies? I don't think I'd go to see any Marvel movie or this Gladiator stuff, or Star Wars. I know I'm missing some of the deeper story lines but all the WhamBamThankYouMam fights and car chases and shit just bore me. And they seem to go on for ever nowadays.

If there's anyone else out there, gimme a holler.

I don't mind that stuff with the kids, though I agree that the fight scenes sare very boring these days. I prefer more character led stuff, or as my husband puts it "another achingly beautiful film, is it" ;-)

Red Rooms 3/10 Not sure what all the hype is about with this French "true-crime" thriller involving a man being accused of kidnapping and torturing 3 school girls. The story follows 2 women who have become obsessed with the case, but for very different reasons.

Not into true crime in the slightest but this is appearing on the a lot for top 5's of the year. I just didnt get it

I'm in the same boat. I dont watch them anymore, like the James Bond\Mission Impossible\John Wicks. There's never any tension in the action scenes because the lead character is invincible. What's the point? Maybe to watch Cruise hang off the side of plane and think, ok that's impressive, but that's it.

My last 2 movies were the Outrun and Small things like there and next film will be Conclave. Never got these violent for violent sake films.

Psycho Goreman 6/10

Fantastic premise more than slightly squandered.

Two kids find an intergalactic warlord buried in their garden, as well as the device that forces him to obey anyone who holds it. A piss take of stuff like ET and The Goonies (and Power Rangers!), but a lot of it falls flat, especially the stuff with the kids' parents. Some great gags and one-liners.
