really liked the first one but haven't had time to go to this new one, will have to watch it on t'telly when it appears on Netflix or whatever

The Valley of the Dead (Malnazidos):

Was arsing around looking for a scary flick for Halloween.

I don't have any interest in the torture porn ones so settled on this. Its a Spanish Flick about a bunch of soldiers from both sides of the spanish civil war stumbling into a Nazi zombie plot.

It wasn't funny enough to be a comedy nor scary enough to be a horror and objectively not a great movie but i loved it.

Reminded me of 80s actioners that don't get made any more with a bit of Wolfenstein 3D thrown in.

no story, no character development, Hot communist resistance fighters, Nuns with Machine guns and Nefarious outrageously Camp Nazis.

Crucially,1hr 40mins long in its socks

Watched two new horror flicks on Netflix – Sting and Marguax. Both were decent, pleasantly surprised. Low budget but enjoyable.
