Watched The Snapper last night for about the 4th time. It never ages.

Colm Meaney is some actor and I don't think the luvvies in Hollywood have ever even nominated him for an acting award.

He was brilliant in that and The Commitments.

In From The Side - 8/10

Very good film about two gay lads playing for a gay rugby team in London - they are as far from camp as you can imagine - who fall in love but they both have partners.

The affair between the two lads also threatens the entire morale and cohesion in the rugby club. Its refreshing for an LGBT film that it doesn't focus on issues about the sexuality of the characters, coming out or being discriminated against.
