Rage against the Machine for Christmas No 1

The more I think about it the more I think that the orginators of the facebook campaign have scored an own-goal. At the end of the day it just drives more sales for Sony.

By persuing this, they're just legitimising something that's been obsolete and irrelevant for some years now - The charts.

Why do people want to judge the merits of music based on how many teenage girls/sheep buy it?

I genuinely feel sorry for them in that they will never understand real music, condemned to a life of radio listening, their loss is incalculable.

What difference is a million odd quid in sales gonna make to Sony or to Simon Cowell? Absolutley fuck all. Its not about who the money is going to. Its about showing up the X-Factor for the shite that it is.

If that is the case then so many people wouldn't watch it. It is a bag of shite. I know that. You know that. But there millions and millions of mongs that don't. It's the way of the world. Some people love to be forced fed shit. I feel that if people genuinely wanted to 'send a message' then there are numerous other songs/bands that deserve the attention rather than egging on the sales of a pituarty retard propped up by fucktard like Cowell where the only winner will be Sony and Cowell.
