Pubs reopening June 29th

I wonder is this the start of a new trend of higher wages in the hospitality sector
I dunno is that legitimate. I never even got that as a chef after years. I know I said I made a bit of money but that was after years of experience and back breaking work.
I've a pal in Dublin who is a cocktail expert. He worked in Leeson St and places. I don't think he got paid that

I dunno, a mate of mine recently took a bar job in Faranree and he's on €15 an hour. That's insane for a local North side pub like

Faaawk. I'm sorry now I didn't train properly in bar. I did a stint and ended up in the kitchen of course
Never too late. I worked bars for nearly 10 years and I had never pulled a pint before my first shift. Its all about learning by doing

Great skill to have, you can go anywhere in the world and work if you are a decent barman

I did it myself, but I regret not doing it more. We are so lucky as Irish lads that there's bascislly a job waiting for us in any foreign city that has an Irish pub
