The anti alcohol lobby will eventually make going to the pub very anti social.
Masquerading as “pro health,” they only focus on the negative consequences of alcohol and conveniently ignore the benefits of going to a pub for a few pints.
We’re not machines: we know the risks, but we appreciate the benefits as well. Conviviality, socialising, relaxing, and yes, becoming drunk.
So what? This continual demonisation of even moderate consumption of alcohol is gone way over the top.
