Pubs reopening June 29th

You were in your late 20s maybe even early 30s Lee and no offence but you're as straight edge as they come. You wouldnt have been able to understand what the vibe was in Sir Henry's on Saturday in the early 90s and you wouldnt have been able to pull as a result. Not much drinking going on and the average age as well was probably about 19 or 20 as well so that wouldnt have helped you either.
Plenty of St Angelas girls and Pres boys in there on a Saturday night as well as people from poorer backgrounds.
As I said it was the only club that mixed the social classes at the time.
What clubs did you go to? De Lacey house?
🤔
I gave up going to clubs when the great Co-Cos closed App. I went some Rugby club discos from time to time though.
I never entered De Lacey House as I'd heard bad reports about it from trustworthy people.

Plenty of CBC Boys and St Angela’s (and Scoil Mhuire) girls in De Lacey House in the 80s too 😇

Sloppy buzz was slang used by people on es for drunk people.
When you're on es drunk people are repulsive, slurring and staggering around the place. Didnt touch drink for years when I was a clubber because I saw it as a disgusting buzz.

Druggie looking down his nose at people who confined themselves to alcohol - through the looking glass stuff. 🤣🤣🤣

De Lacey’s was brilliant.

Happy days on the rafters - disco was a bit meh but had its moments too 😇

A 40 year old cruising around clubs looking to pick up 18/19 year old girls from certain schools is ropey stuff Lee 😲
🤔
I wasn't 40 in my cruising years Honky. I was younger when I left Cork. I had a 19 year old gf at the time who was a University girl and not a schoolgirl. Had I stayed in Cork, we would probably have married but it wasn't to be. She had her life plans and I had mine.
Now cut the insinuations.ok!

You said about 2 pages back that there was a 20 year age gap!
19+20=39

unless I have misunderstood?

🤔
I nearly bought a 19 year old lassie to Spain with me in 2002. She decided to finish in UCC so it was a genuine love lost. 😥
🙂
You're alright man
There was an age difference, 20 years actually!
