If it's the same guy I'm thinking of 100% gentleman and no doubt intervened out of concern for the bar staff.

People involved in the bar trade should be the last to treat bar staff the way the Chawkes did as for the assault that followed on the gents it was utterly appalling. I've no idea why any of the sentence is suspended tbh. Five years Hard labour would have been more apt.

I took a walk through town at around 6pm last night and the scenes were something else.

We've great heritage and racing pubs, but it was good to see other places doing so well and catering for all the Spanish and Argentinians, many of them attractive women, who have made Cork their home.

One of the best atmospheres I've experienced in Cork City in a long time.
