Undertakers/Pub owners is a fairly well established tradition Id have thunk.

A fella could spend most of his time buying their poison and the final payment to put him in the ground. Handy work.

A pub that I won't name is having a semi public lock in on Sunday night, for the England vs Mexico game, which kicks off at 1am.

All because one English regular promised he'd bring all his mates in and make it worthwhile.

Absolutely stupid risk for a pub to take. Opening til potentially 4am on a Sunday night for a bunch of rowdy English wankers.

Imagine going for a piss in that urinal while some auld fella sits in the corner taking a shit.

While both of ye pay top dollar for a pint because apparently pubs are important for communities.

What I don't get is this -

If auld fellas in rural areas need pubs to socialise in, can they not just have a glass of coke if they're driving? Or does socialising require alcohol?
