That's all Bishopstown needs: the loss of another scarce, social amenity and more apartments. BTW, it's a small site for an apartment block.

Ideal location for apartments though between EmptyYou, UCC, and CUH, very close to a busy bus route, and within a minute or two of the South Ring.

The front of the building is in line with the row of adjoining houses and garage, so hard to see PP fir extending further out towards the street. Garage owns half the area between the two premises. A good restaurant-cum-bar could work well on the site.

I hadn't realised that O Donoughue's, if still the proprietors, owned half the area. Complicates things I imagine for the construction of dwellings.

I see Electric is reopening under the name "The Merchant". Clearly I have inspired them.

A friend of mine has been in for a look already and apparently they have done a fantastic job.

The South Gate (no relation to Gareth) is receiving very positive reviews as well. My friend Derek has made it his first choice pub for matches.

Last night of my holiday already.

I tend to get homesick these days when I'm away so the PROC is great company. I used be able to go away for months on end and never get homesick, but these days I do. Old age?
