Pubs reopening June 29th

Got down to the pub today at 5pm to get a good spot for the Munster game. Even sat through the Leinster game.

7:05, they turn over to Tipperary vs Clare.

I'm actually fit to kill. That's grand yeah, look after your wealthy Blackrock c**ts who show their faces once a month, and fuck the likes of me who come in on a Monday night in January.

Damage has been done today. I won't forget it.
Surely a decent pub will have more than one Sky box and can show multiple games at once.

Surely if you are going to a pub to watch a specific match you first check with the bar person to see if they intend showing it and if not bring your custom elsewhere.

Well the Tipp game was on at 7 and the Munster game at 7.45.

if people were already watching the hurling they were unlikely to turn over til the 2nd half

Absolutely and a lot of pubs also have a list of sports they will be showing on a particular day. As time goes by watching sports in a pub is becoming less mainstream. Some bars don't bother with volume etc. or only have TVs in certain areas.

The URC is hardly box office at the best of times irrespective of the implications for Munster at the moment.
