Pubs reopening June 29th

It's not a residential area strictly speaking but with the hospital across the road he will have to keep the noise down.
Look, you and I know that is true.

I'm definitely one that is against noise in pubs. It can be absolutely fuckin ridiculously loud in a lot of places. The old bear on Barrack St is a prime example.
There's absolutely no need for it. And shit like that should be investigated.

The Wilton will push limits, and won't do anything until there are complaints.

Haven't they already downgraded trade by getting rid of the carvery, so depleting the vast majority of the greytops?
I believe this is wrong - a 'food reviewer' was down from Dublin and scored the carvery fairly low. The recommendation for this 'reviewer' was made pre-sale.
The 'reviwer' however did score the new decor and customer service of the bar very high.
They may have stopped it for this reason for a cooling off period and relaunching it.

I know the restaurant section up stairs 'Saints and Sinners' is mainly bar food - Saints side of the menu equivalent to to almost the slimming world menu that other bars do - all healthy options. Sinner side of the menu then your usual loaded burgers and fries etc.

As I said - he won't be pushing his luck with too much change - no carvery in a bar located next to the hospital HQ of Munster. Bad business move, I could be 100% wrong though, I haven't been since the new owner opened and you could be 100% right that they no longer do it. I'm basing my comment on from what I've seen on social media.

His neighbors at the back of the bar are into the housing estate ? there's houses behind the Paddy Power/High Street Books/Gallo & Galleti area?
When you come out of the bar and go right you have HSE offices, Bru Columbus (charity accommodation for families of very sick patients), the school and then houses. An DJ outdoors the sound would travel fairly far as across road minus church/shopping centre it's very open area.

Having a designated glass is dangerous game as it leaves you wide open to such shenanigans as someone sticking their mickey in it when you're not there.

Yeah - a dedicated seat with your name on a name-plate in the pub is a much better sign of your prestige there.

My pal's da had one in his local along the lines of
"This seat is reserved for XXX XXXXXX and must be vacated upon his request".

He was a fabulous guy God be good to him - he was always in great form, always had a smile and a joke.
