Pubs reopening June 29th

I am isolating at present due to that fact the Hantavirus might be here already.

I haven't heard yet from Professor Jerry Kileen or Professor John Lambert .
These two know what a virus is all about.
Gerry Killen did some work in Africa as far as we know.
RTE needs to get them on the TV and advise us.
I think Luke on Neill is a lightweight.

you're safe here DaftY

I was advised by another publican to ask for those items back now and see how the dust settles.

I've a sliotar signed by the 1999 Cork hurling team in there, and a programme from the 2001 Irish open in Fota signed by all the big names, including Justin Rose, Adam Scott, Thomas Bjorn, and all the Irish lads. They're worth looking after like.
Get them back for now - you can always loan them again if you think it appropriate

I don't think I'd loan them to anyone other than Tom. He had always had great stuff on display on there, I knew he'd look after them.

It'll be interesting to see what he takes and what he leaves behind. There is so much cool stuff on the walls in there. That massive framed photo of ROG dropping the goal against Wales is personalised to the O'Connor family, that'd be of no value to a new owner.

It must have been some huge decision for him to give up his family business. A lifetime of work both for him, his brother before him, and his father before them.

They're queuing to get into the pubs here.

These are normal pubs like, and they're already packed to the gills.

Era lads I know I'm moaning away but this has been such a shit weekend in Ireland's "best" town. We both wanted a break after a bad weeks in work and instead we get fuck all and for top dollar down here.

Dingle is a fucking overpriced, tourist-ridden dump. If you want to have the absolute piss taken out of you and your wallet drained, by all means head down to Dingle.

But if you want to see Ireland as it actually is, meet real people, have a bit of craic, and get good good value for your money, then head to Castletownbere, Ennis, Westport, Bundoran etc etc.

Never, ever, ever waste a cent of your hard earned money in Dingle.

I hate it so much.

Benny, can you salvage my year please and arrange a new work visa for that Canadian girl working in the Fountain plz and tnx.

Spent a few nights in Dingle last week, the place was packed with loudmouthed tourists. In an area which is a designated Gaeltacht area, therefore benefitting for the grants for such a designation and despite our attempts to instigate conversations in Irish we did not hear a word of Irish spoken in fact there were more foreign languages in use.
Prices in bars and restaurants are off the Richter scale and the welcome you get is based on your ability to pay, however we salvaged the trip by spending time West of Dingle in Ballyferriter/Muirioch/Feoghnach still some sembalence of normality there.

The one thing I would say about Dingle is the people there know you have money in your pocket they know how to extract it and put it in their own
