Also, anywhere that serves coddle is not getting my custom. The worst dish ever invented.
A disembodied Caucasian langer floating on a sea of fetid cabbage water.
I've got three Glen Hansard stories, and while I have absolutely fuck all interest in his music, he is a genuinely great fella.
I'd rather gouge out my own eyeballs with a rusty spoonDid you ever watch the documentary about the time he went to Santiago de Compostella In a currach with a few fellas from connemara?
I thought so too but honestly it's greatI'd rather gouge out my own eyeballs with a rusty spoon

Gravediggers in Glasnevin?
They’d have a constant trade because of the cemetery, tours etc. But it’s a small enough pub.. I couldn’t imagine them being anything like one of the biggest traders. The likes of the Palace on Camden Street would be big I’d say
Thought The Palace was on Fleet Street? One of the truly great pubs in dublin imho.
Yep it's on Fleet Street. And I totally agree with you, it is an absolute landmark. One of the very, very few pubs in Dublin City centre that I'd go for a pint in.
I had a pint with the Guinness Guru in there, facilitated by our fellow poster IPA. That was a great day.
Mulligans is one of the other spots I'd go into around once a year, but I prefer the Palace.
