Pubs reopening June 29th

To the Barricades lads

The hydrogen boss quit cause beer sales are down.

"Gen Z" don't really drink at all. I think people have finally started realise how fucking bad the gatt is. I'd say a few generations from now gatt will be very niche.

Far different now from when I started going out in Cork in the mid 90s. There was literally fuck all else to do and all your peers told you that gatting is the only way.

Nowadays there's so much else to do.

I was out with the FIL for the munster match at the weekend, 2 Guinness was a few pence shy of €14, it made me do a double take. I dont really care because I dont drink too many of them, but it's getting savagely expensive at this point.

Yeah had a similar experience over Christmas. I paid for a round of 3 pints in cash and got some shock when I saw my change. I'd normally pay with the phone and I possibly wouldn't pay attention to the price

I'm like yourself, I don't go for pints very often nowadays so it doesn't impact me as much others.
