I'd love to do that some day, work stops me midweek but even for Cork Games going out at 2pm etc going drinking before 6/7 o clock just feels strange.

I hear ya midweek is usually a big no for me, today was an absolute treat I hit up Sin E, Dan Lowerys, Cork Arms, quick stop in Sakura for some food and the 2 in the Hi Bi before heading for the bus.

That's fucking great to hear! It used to be the way you'd run into everything from labourers, farmers, and gardeners, to musicians, artists, professors and journalists having a pint in the city of a weekday afternoon. I've seen more of the online influencers and whiskey bloggers, recently, so it's good to know the Cork pint men (women, and in between) are still occasionally making an appearance!
