There's plenty of difference between most different types of pints and if you think there isn't then you're medically unwell, lacking taste buds, bonkers, or quite possibly all three.

Are you really trying to convince people that there is "no difference between" stout, lager, and beer? Or even if you accept that those are all different are you really trying to convince us that there's no difference between Murphys and Guinness, or between say Coors and Moretti??

Or could it be that you've just never had an actual pint in your life

I'm saying it comes down to the bar staff. If they want you to have a good pint you'll get one. It's why we're the best at it.

I agree with you completely there - good bar staff are crucial to the enjoyment of a pint. And not just in the expert pulling of the pint itself.
