Please buy the Hawthorn. It has been run into the ground over the past 15 years. It could and should be great. However, it is currently a kip that I have only set foot in once over the last decade or more.

Noel's and Mok's currently receive the vast percentage of my patronage. I would happily welcome a triangulation of tippling temples.

Who wouldn't want a pint of MiDaza or Redemption whilst watching an unsupervised child get attacked by a goose? Who could refuse a Handsum or Sunbeam whilst enjoying the aromatic strains of hash emanating from an Eastern European lad's tent - set up under the auspices of fishing for carp?

I remember going in there after games in Muzzer in the 1980s. It was a bit of a kip back then too. A pity really because it's in an excellent location.

It should be so much better than it is.

There are currently only 296 pubs called "the swan" in the UK, Irish numbers not available. But there is a huge gap in the market.

Throw in an Ant and Dec's Saturday night Takeaway themed one armed bandit and some bunting
