I did a little session in Ballincollig on Sunday.
Artys, Tradehouse Central, and Mary O'Connells.
All very nice and very different pubs. Artys was busy, all lads, with racing on the TVs and a very nice pint of Guinness. I think it was only €5.80.
Trade house Central is the complete opposite, all the ladies in sipping Gin and Tonic. I like those kind of bars though, very comfortable.
Mary O's was the only pub I could find with the Leinster Final on. Decent spot if a bit bland. It was very busy, sort of an older crowd although all the staff were very young.
Finished off the evening in Hickeys in Aherla. Probably my favorite pub outside of the city. The pizza is absolutely unreal and the pints are cream. It's a basic village boozer but a nice mixed crowd, you'd have lads in for the match and young couples in on date night.
I actually really like Ballincollig and that whole area in general
