Pubs reopening June 29th

I was in the Sin E yesterday and the Guinness was actually very bad.
Moved over to Dan Lowreys and it was better
Then I decided to go to those pubs on Shandon that I always wanted to visit.
The Homer and the Shandon Arms were very good. Nice pint and in the Homer the pint of Guinness was a fiver even. Was 5.30 in the Shandon. Both nice pints and both places were full of decent friendly working class people.
However Eugenes was diabolical. Very unfriendly one behind the bar, and the place was full of young norries. And let me tell you, the mullet seems to back in fashion for working class youth. Place was full of dudes with mullets. And the Norrie old dolls were singing pop songs in there, even though there was no karaoke in there. Just singing away. Hightailed it out of there and went to the Fran Well. By the way, I always wanted to have a drink in Maureen's, but you have to ring the video doorbell and if they don't like the look of you they won't leave you in.
I said, fuck that, and left. That's like one of weird gay bars in New York in the 80s. You had a guy behind the door looking out and seeing if you're ok to come in.
The old reliable is the one up there. Jacks are fuckin mankey though.

He was telling me a “days work “ is 8 pints to allow for water breaks . 8 pints a day sounds like tough work to me
I used to do that easily and I'd get up and work an 11 hour shift without any drug. Not now though. Bastards could have made me coffee.
Before MUP I'd get slabs and drink a rake of cans.
