Pubs reopening June 29th

Mission success blokes, this Clockwork stout really is creamy, an absolute creamer dare I say. I’ll sample a few more and hope the head isn’t too bad in the morning, also thinking of staying on in Dublin another night since the stout is so good up here! Only thing is the pubs aren’t quite as authentic as Cork’s finest heritage pubs but I’ll get over it as long as the standard of porter stays high.

Good day.

Not so much on locals closing but the real social outlet.
Years ago I used live in a rural area, one shop, pub, church vibe.
There was an elderly single farmer who used live alone, every night he used drive to the pub in his old tractor, have glass of stout, drop of Powers and head home after few hours chat by the turf fire
The police did a drive driving blitz in the area for a month, it spooked him so he stopped coming.
Passed away a month later.
?
Would he have been over the limit at the time with just having drunk a glass and a small whiskey?

With that it's not even drink either for those local pubs etc
The retired lads that go in at lunch for a coffee/lite bite and just chat to people.
Or go in for a few races and have a few glasses of coke.

There's a lot more aspects as well to pubs than just drink.

Lads who become friends at the pool table etc or the lad that will just watch the games of pool
