Pubs reopening June 29th

Some interesting stuff here from the owner of the Fran Well. https://www.rte.ie/radio/radio1/clips/22468010/

The Hope in Fitzrovia is a lovely pub and his Guinness is top class tbf. Does a great pint of Murphys as well. I was there for Armagh vs Donegal earlier in the year and they had half of Crossmaglen in skulling pints and chomping on hot chicken fillet rolls.

He seems like a nice fella, and a good operator. He's no Benny though. 4 pubs ffs, come back to me when you own 15+, and a cafe. This is why Benny is known as the king.

Respected by his rivals, feared by his enemies, and adored by his punters.

Managed to get my hands on some Kilkenny in Le Château. Beautiful, beautiful stuff. Makes me want to give a visit back to Kilkenny. Haven’t been there since the late nineties, back when I used go to the Kilkenny SHC finals, and I do say majestic games they were.

I walked through the city last night at 945pm. I noticed that Counihan's and Callanan's were both closed. Is this normal for them on a Sunday night?

Was in Intermission on Saturday night. Only ever gone in there scalded for a late one in the past, but landed in there about 10ish. Quiet but not dead, a good dj on from 11, it got progressively busier but it was never mental. Good spot, will happily spent the night there again.

Grand spot for a late drink, it's always comfortable
