This occurred to me a few days ago when that bald RTE fella who used be the Washington Correspondent popped up talking about Trump.

The wife goes "a good Farran man".

I never knew he was from Cork, never mind Farran.

Then you have Michael O'Leary of Ryanair infamy, who was born in Kanturk.

And of course Bartholomew Patrick "Bertie" Ahern, who's parents were from Cork.

Are there any other random semi-famous people from Cork? We all know the likes of Cillian Murphy and Roy Keane are from here, but there must be some random ones too. Dee Forbes and the likes.
