Protecting the Integrity of Fair competition in Womens Sport

This is bad. LGFA, need to take step up. Sport Ireland shouldn't be washing their hands of it.

The adult should be banned and the club should be fined heavily.

This is the opppsite story from all the bleating about "Wokism" it's red scare nonsense.

I feel so sorry for that poor girl and her parents.

It's not really a gender issue policy problem though is it?
It's simply a man acting the maggot at a kids football match, perpetuated by the WhatsApp messages afterwards.

Would it more prudent for match officials to remove such a person from the sidelines and make that policy.

I can't help feeling all the hullabaloo making a big thing of it is far more damaging. The child in question didn't even hear the man bellowing on. I wouldn't be giving that man's carry on much airtime and energy. Calm it down and move on. It was a false accusation anyway.

The match was delayed, they were changed from 13 aside to 11 aside on the back of a false opinion formed by a fan.

This continued after the match by taking a picture from Facebook and circulating it on WhatsApp.

The GAA/LGFA are strong enough on Safeguarding. This event represents a failure if Safeguarding and the Ref, the Club and the Adult all have a duty to protect that child.

"A fan" bitching to the ref and the coaches is no way to handle these things. the LGFA owe that girls parents some assurance that it won't happen again.
