Country Regional Manager Malaysia

We now offer our worldwide customer base a full range of sophisticated technical services in a tailor-made fashion to address safety, risk and asset performance issues related to energy production, storage and transportation.
All applicants must have significant experience in operational, consultancy or similar integrity related disciplines in Wind energy, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical or a related industry sector
The Country Manager will have full profit and loss responsibility for the firms Industrial Services business scope in Malaysia and potentially regional accountability for areas such as Singapore and the Philippines. They will also contribute to the growth and development of the business within the Asia region and globally. The business is a varied consultancy service provided Energy Solutions across the Asia Region, with growth plans to introduce a wider range of consultancy and inspection services to the Oil and Gas sector as well as penetrate into new markets such as petrochemicals, renewable energy and power stations.
Specifically, the Country Manager will be responsible for the following:
1. Full and direct responsibility for effective management of the company’s existing business, to assure a consistent level of output is kept, and to grow the service portfolio.
2. Responsible for acquisitions, prospect generation, new business and operations
3. Establishment of the vision and strategy of the future business, consistent with the overall goals of the global strategy of the firm.
4. Lead the organisation’s activities to achieve or exceed agreed targets and standards for financial and trading performance, quality and culture, ensuring the effectiveness and profitability of the company
5. Establish a sound business plan for the short, medium, and long term growth along with clear implementation plans and objectives. Recommend and present these plans to the Executive Board.
6. Identify opportunities to leverage country-based knowledge and expertise to develop business growth in other countries.
7. Feel and act as part of the global network and be responsible for integrating the country operations into the global networks, ensuring that the country operation is not a stand-alone business.
8. Establish strong networks and relationships with clients and customers within the market to enable the business to grow.
9. Leadership and management of a strong entrepreneurial team, providing clear leadership to staff, motivate and inspire outstanding results
10. Identify, develop and retain talent to build a strong winning team
Skills
• Significant experience gained in operational, consultancy or similar integrity related disciplines in Wind energy, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical or a related industry sector
• The successful candidate will be a “business builder” combining strong business development skills with excellent leadership and management skills
• Ability to manage, develop, monitor and interpret commercial indicators
