PJ had on residents from Wellington road about drug users and the drug house, residents frustrated by lack garda presence and action.
PJ prob on phone to his buddy from GRA and watch there'll be a raid now sometime this week.

Resident said Garda are nice on phone etc.
100% frustrating for residents and they have my sympathy I wouldn't want it on my doorstep either but there's potentially an operation in place where they're waiting on a large delivery so they can put them away for a while.
We saw in Douglas Village Carpark with the Eastern European Gang with heroin sale and supply turned out they had undercover operation in place etc

I think it's a catch 22 situation - wait for big delivery to put them away and you've hassle for weeks/months.
Do them today with low quantity and they prob be released in the morning and fellas will go to ground and no large delivery.

They might as well have a neon sign saying "Drug dealing ongoing" it's a balls for the people living around there. very intimidating

Absolutely very intimidating as I said I wouldn't want it on my door but very much a catch 22 for the guards - build a case that takes time and be accused of doing nothing or go straight in find nothing or something very small and the lads are roaming the streets the following day doing the same.

I would not want to live in the area personally and my sympathy does go out to those that are suffering from intimidation and hassle.

I'd say those big houses were amazing back in the day.

God knows what they look like inside now.

What is the actual story with them and why are they full of people of colour? Are they private accommodation? As long as I can remember there have been black people all around that area
