pj coogan show

Mick or Tommy will be on tomorrow talking about the protest march in town on saturday and how the march will
force the govt to take action to help people, of course they know the budget is already sorted and help is coming,
But nothing like a good street protest,
Mick Da Dub inviting Mehole down to Cork on Saturday for the protest.

:lol!: :lol!:

There will be numerous people speaking at the protest all saying exactly the same thing, These speeches then have to end with
a very loud go raibh mile maith agat,

Like what do people actually expect to achieve with a cost of living protest?

Do they think the government are happy with spiralling costs putting families and businesses at risk? Are they happy that as consumer spending plummits we're more than likely going to end up in a recession during which these same people will then expect the government to support them?

If people are concerned about their budgets then start readjusting them and doing what you can. Turn off lights when you're not using them, have shorter showers, dry your clothes on a clothes horse instead of a dryer.

As it happens apparently dryers are one of the biggest offenders for eating up electricity. Worse than washing machines.

Absolutely none of this is the government's fault and people need to start acting like adults instead of playing the blame game constantly.

Saturday is all about party politics, Organisers will claim they forced govt to act, reality is govt have said they will implement measures never seen before
weeks ago in the budget,

If govt had signalled in recent weeks that no help was on the way and people have to just suck it up,
Id probably be marching myself, But this is purely party politics at play,
