Of course Pj never corrected him on this, PJ you should have clarified that this is pay restoration not a pay rise,
Im fully aware people need help but can anybody clarify if this demand for an emergency budget is a case of bringing the october
budget forward or is it a case of two seperate budgets? If lets say there was an emergency budget now and 2 bn allocated,
will that come form the money allocated for october?

It was very annoying yesterday when PJ failed to correct Mick on his claims judges were getting a pay rise,

Or that it applied to hospital consultants too who we are struggling to recruit and retain.
Judges getting pay rise will gain more traction with PJ's audience and Mick's voters than doctors having their pay restored!!

If government had stalled this for another 12m, Peej would have Mick on, spouting about the challenges facing the Health Service and how our top doctors and consultants need to be rewarded and have been badly let down by the government.

Tbf, wouldn't blame Mick. He is a politician and if he knows that a radio interviewer isn't going to worry about such things as facts, he might as well throw out the soundbites.
