Paying for air in a petrol station

Kinda pisses me off.

They make enough money as it is, quick to put the price up, slow to put it back down.

Where is the AA? Far too silent IMHO.

How about the department of transport or the Road Safety Authority?

Surely tyre pressure is a safety issue.

Did you ever pay for air?

Machines have to be maintained and calibrated.Rates and wages are going up too.I remember when people were complaining about paying to go into public toilets years ago.....sure tis only 50c.

Only a euro in most places.

"What need you, being come to sense,
But fumble in a greasy till
And add the halfpence to the pence
And prayer to shivering prayer, until
You have dried the marrow from the bone"

A euro to put air in your tyres that could save your life and other lives.....i think its worth it.

If you have a euro.

And also if you can figure the things out.

Then there is the time limit. In my local station I was told the euro would only give me time to pump up two tyres.

They had to start charging for it.

It’s inflation.

I wonder what will happen these places when we all start charging our electric cars at home? Will they go the way of the old blacksmiths or livery stables?
