He was a good player but the English act like he was a footballing genius because he could pass a ball (which he could, well). He was great player at United but he is not is the same category as Cantona, Keane, Becks, or Giggs for me, Clive. A bit of a cranky git also who lacked charisma and couldn’t tackle.
