You wont survive in that game without having a nasty streakHe has a better rep than John Cleary, which wouldn't be hard in fairness, but I'm sure he's as ruthless when he wants to be.

Weird quirk here, you scan the back of the passport card not the front in the e gates. You would think it's the front because of using normal passport but it isn't.Furthermore the passport eGates will not accept/scan them so you have to get into a queue to see an actual passport agent.
The passport card is less than useless - from personal experience. It's nothing more than an overpriced ID card.
No matter where I go in the EU, there's always some confusion or consternation at the desk/security/passport screening/boarding. Spain, France, Holland - you name it.
Coming back from Germany the week before last - I had to explain myself at literally every one of the points above.
And at every point the person that I was dealing with replied - "I have never seen one of these before".

What's that about ?
It's useful in Spain for I'd as EU citizens can't get residents cards here now. I always carry my full passport when travelling through to avoid delays.
I'm in my second one and find it fierce handy, and I've never once had a problem with it.The passport card is less than useless - from personal experience. It's nothing more than an overpriced ID card.
