Passport service

Our seven year old little girl hates having her photo taken, Her passport is out of date, We have holiday booked for July,
Six weeks ago i managed to sneak a photo of her, Went online and started the process, At first photo was rejected, System
told me to drag her photo into an oval shaped box and try again, Did so and got green light, Got the relevant form signed at
Garda stn and posted it, Got a tracking number and when i checked it last week was given a delivery date of May 17th,
Thursday afternoon we got an email telling us the photo was not acceptable, Headed over to the office in south mall and was told by a staff member
that while the system accepted the photo a Person in the office then deemed it not acceptable, I had ticked a box on the form to the effect the child has sensory
issues, Now have less than two weeks to somehow get a photo which will be acceptable,
She is only seven and we are not comfortable with leaving her home alone for a week, Be careful if any of ye are applying and using a photo from a phone,
Best idea is somewhere like MCauleys pharmacy where they check there and then if photo is OK,
I have tried All sorts of bribery to get her to go to McAULEYS but to no avail.

I did mine online. It took about 10 gos of photos though and it's a terrible picture but eventually it was approved. You'll get it in time. Do it today just keep taking pictures preferably in a good light

When we get home from the holiday instead of calling me daddy she will call me my dear,

Your missus will insist she continues to call me daddy while you're away jimmy. ;)

I'm reminded of the old Niall Tobin joke - "You want an advance from me on your Children's Allowance? But for me you wouldn't have that ayther"
