She grew up a girl, born a girl, her bits are superficially correct and likely never knew she was DSD till she became an elite athlete. its a tough sitch way more complex then a trans women wanting to compete

Similar advantages but different scenario.

Not so different that she should be competing in the female category due to her advantages arising from having internal testes but this is not a trans debate and shouldn't be framed as such. they are obviously similar but different.

O’Rourkes decision was a joke.

You would see have seen more polished boxing outside the Fob and Gill on womens little Christmas after a crate of Bacardi breeze and the chippendales.

You can say O’Rourke didn’t have a plan for it but even with the benefit of hindsight “I’m going to keep actually boxing while this one throws slaps and elbows and surely the judges will notice this” seems like a reasonably cast iron plan.

Yep, as far as I am aware. The difference I suppose is Semenya wasn’t punching women in the face! That fight was horrible to see, but having read a bit about it since I’m not quite sure how they should deal with it.. but at the same time it was awful to watch that Italian girls dreams shattered after a lifetime of training and dedication.

Hard not to feel for the Algerian also, you could see she was completely aware of what was wrong, and the Italian refusing to even make eye contact afterwards.. but in the end it was a savage and dangerous mismatch
