One year off the smokes today

well done lad keep it up .how many a day were you smoking did you go cold turkey or did you have help

I was 10 or so a day so could have been much worse, I know people who smoke 30 a day. Cold Turkey/will power never worked for me, in the end Allen Carr method did it (just bought the book read it a second time after getting bored of it the first time months before a chapter or two in). This is what did it for me 100%

i was off them for 2.5 years - just really wanted to quit and the Alan Carr book gave me the final help to stop. But back on them now 2 years and how I feel such a fool - the money, my health, blah blah.. but i'm so addicted now - a part of me wants to give up but not enough. I dont know how to get back in that place again where I hate them. I will though - some day. Congrats and dont slip like I did. I am more addicted now than ever.. was on about 10 a day before - now almost 20.

I've never smoked but I'm happy you quit. You've just saved your life.

No he hasn't, he'll still die eventually.

Nice work ctoan. Off them a month now myself. The big tester was a piss up which I got through with no major cravings.
