Official UEFA Champions League 24/25 Thread

Lies make the baby jesus cry.

You were glued to the bumnal game and we all know it
Lol.

I'd rather stick pins in my scrotum than watch Brentetas latest tactical masterpiece.

Edit: Just checked bumnals stats. Another massive SEVEN shots in 90 minutes. Even Utd can better that ffs :lol!:

Bet you wish you'd said nothing now.

Edit Number 2: The only two teams with less shots than bumnal last night were

Bratislava v City and Young Boys v Barca.

Now I know this will probably heat up as we get to the latter stages of things but is it just me or has the CL been fairly shit so far?

The games between good clubs feel like they lack meaning and the other games are massacres.

The real problem is the top 20 or so clubs in Europe are so far ahead financially that there's practically no chance of good medium sized clubs out there challenging the elite.

People will point to Brighton and they have a point, but there's most likely a limit to how far stats and the application of such can take you. And eventually that edge will be swallowed up too when others start to copy it.

Last night I watched Dortmund Celtic and the first 25 minutes or so were brilliant. Then Dortmund put them to bed. I switched off the football. and watched something else. I love football and watch way too much of it, but you know, there's a limit too.

Bar Liverpool (and Bayern, who are drawing), all the favourites are behind at HT.
