Brilliant game. Fair play to Villa for coming back to win the game on the night but also really putting PSG to the pin of their collars and warranted extra time on the night.

PSG and Barca both showing flaws tonight when taking the eye off the ball for a while. It’s as open as it gets. Arsenal and Inter are probably more balanced than anyone else left.

Quality of games has gone to fuck in the last few years, this round of games has been decent but the rest of what I’ve seen has been beyond boring.

They could do a lot worse than take some of the games out of the group and add in an extra knockout round. I don’t see them reducing games when it means more TV money but it could swap meaningless games for knockout games.

Nothing beats knockout football.
