Official Pro Wrestling Thread

I haven't watched Raw or Smackdown in ages, but the talk is Aldis v Gunther could steal the show. Aldis is great wrestler and former NWA champ reportedly.

I love Gunther btw. Best wrestler on the roster right now imo, but they've ruined him retiring Cena and AJ now.

Ruined Drew too. Would much rather be watching Drew v Gunther than Reigns v Rollins part 2,349.

finn balor looks to be getting a big push again since leaving the judgement day. they’re making a big deal
of him being the first universal/wwe champion until he was injured.

wrestling is obviously merit based but i hope finn wins another. penta is definitely going to drop the intercontinental title to chad gable and will get a shove up too.

so apart from the main lads (rhodes, rollins, boring roman reigns) we could see a good few stories with finn, penta, sami zayne, gunther, gable over the next few months.

bron breaker is definitely going to leave the vision too.

wrestlemania in the desert next year, ffs. sami zayne to win a title amongst his people.

while i agree with you it’s my youngest lad has me strapped in for it. it’s great to have something to watch with him that story based amd not 45 seconds long.

Drives me nuts. Yes I know you have to catch him so he won't hurt himself.

Here's an idea. If it looks staged, don't do it.
Never mind the Swan dives to the outside and stuff like that, which obviously is ridiculous, even the stuff that happens in the ring looks way too choreographed. The older lads, whilst obviously less of an athlete were far better wrestlers when it comes down to it.

And they sold. Saw a few Andre matches recently. Obviously he wasnt doing moonsaults because of his size, but he sold..

Did this great little thing where he'd fall back into the ropes and tie himself up. Make himself a helpless 500 pound giant. Great story telling.

Also did some tremendous stuff with Jake the snake and him being terrified of said snake. Great fun watching a 500 pound man who could probably kill you with a slap running away looking like that, like a little puppy dog who just saw a tiger.

Aldi v Gunther will be grand. Aldis was a solid wreslter in TNA too and this will be mostly a Gunther mauling but Aldis will get a putting him through the table spot before he's choked out. It will be a solid fun match
